PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

We are entering an era in education where the expectation for all schools across the U.S. is to close the performance gap through accountability.  To that end, Bennett High School, as well as other schools across the nation, is transitioning into a smaller learning community where student success is the main goal.  By incorporating the Smaller Schools model, the hope is that students will feel more connected to the school community, safer, and will place more value and interest in their learning.

Along with the Smaller Schools model, which includes our International Law, Education and the Arts, and Business programs, we will also implement an advisory program.  The goals of the advisory program are to provide personalized support to eliminate the isolation that some students experience in large schools, help students feel a vested interest in the school by connecting them to an adult within the school community, increase attendance rates, decrease disciplinary referrals and ultimately increase student achievement.

So, if you are interested in maximizing your academic possibilities and making achievement your responsibility, we welcome you to join the Bennett High School family.

        Mrs. R. Reynolds, Principal
