OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Early Childhood Center #61 is to provide student centered instruction to improve academic performance in the area of literacy in order for all students to become proficient readers, writers, listeners and speakers. To ensure student success, a safe and orderly environment will be provided which fosters responsibility and respect for self and others.
Important Reminder
The Buffalo Public Schools uses the Connect ED phone system to contact parents to confirm student absences, give reminders of important upcoming events and announce emergency closings. Chances are you have already received these phone calls if your correct phone number is on file. Teach Children Gratitude
Ungrateful children can have trouble making friends and getting along with teachers. Help your child be grateful for what others do for him. Together write down what each family member does around the house. Take turns doing chores you don't normally do. This is the perfect opportunity for your child to learn just how much effort a chore can take!
