Mission Statement:
The mission of the Stanley M. Makowski Early Childhood Center #99 is to foster a school community focused on the teaching and learning of reading, writing, and mathematics.
Our Community will flourish in a safe and orderly environment that promotes respect for self, authority, others, and property.
School Beliefs:
- Every child deserves a safe, caring, nurturing environment.
- Every child can learn given the necessary resources and needed support and an academically rigorous curriculum, which is aligned with New York State standards.
- Staff, families, and students will be accountable for the accomplishments of all learners.
- Continuous staff development in research-based practices is the basis for implementing change in our instructional programs.
- Students will flourish in an environment that recognizes, respects, and celebrates diversity.
