SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS

Below you will find classroom supply lists for each grade level, beginning with our Pre-K classrooms. If you have any questions please feel free to call the school at 816-4794.

ALL STUDENTS MUST PURCHASE AN AGENDA FOR $5.00

Pre-Kindergarten

Teachers: Mrs. Staples and Mrs. Wilson

Pre-Kindergarten SCHOOL Supply List

$5.00 for subscription to Weekly Reader series
2 marbled composition homework notebooks
1 large backpack
1 rug and 1 blanket (pillow optional)
1 teddy bear or stuffed animal
a complete change of clothing labeled with your child’s name  (including socks and underclothes)
1 long sleeved sweatshirt or sweater
1 box of baby wipes
sneakers/gym shoes

Pre-Kindergarten HOME Supply List

chubby pencils (for little hands)

old magazines for homework projects

PARENTS: Pre-K is a time of self-discovery. Your child will get messy as he/she explores the world inside and outside the classroom. We suggest you purchase inexpensive sweatpants/shirts to be worn at school. You may save the nice coordinated outfits for home and special occasions.


Kindergarten

Each child needs to supply a change of clothes LABELED! (This should include under-clothing and socks.)  Sweatshirt or sweater too! (During winter months you may want to supply an extra pair of shoes/sneakers.)

1 art smock- a men's dress shirt (old)

1 white - 1 inch 3-ring binder with pockets and Clear View front cover
old magazines to cut for projects
1 disposable indoor camera with a flash-will be used for portfolio

Throughout the year a list will be sent home as needed for supplies

First Grade

Third Grade

**Please send all materials in a gallon sized Ziploc bag as pencil cases will not fit in the students desks with the rest of their supplies. Students cannot bring hard pencil cases or three-ring binders. These items are too big!

Fourth Grade

The Fourth Grade Teachers have prepared the following list of school supplies.  We feel that they are necessary for your child to have a productive school year.

10 pocket folders with inner clamps
3 book covers (NOT adhesive/paper bags are fine)
4 marble notebooks
2 one-subject notebooks
1 ruler (metric on one side, linear on the other)
1 highlighter
glue sticks (replace as needed throughout the year)
1 pack of lined 3 x 5 index cards
1 pair of scissors (rounded ends)
1 pencil pouch or bag (a plastic bag works fine)
1 box of 24 crayons
1 box of colored pencils
1 box of thin markers (used for outlining/map work)
loose leaf paper (500 sheets, to be replenished as needed)
book bag (labeled with student's name)
#2 pencils (Students need a minimum of 4 sharpened each day: these must be replaced as needed throughout the year...NO MECHANICAL PENCILS, PLEASE)
2 blue or black ink pens
3 boxes of Kleenex (stored and shared in class throughout the year)

PLEASE, NO 3-RING BINDERS AND NO HARD COVER PENCIL BOXES

In addition to these supplies our students are required to have sneakers for their Gym classes.

Projects are an important part of 4th grade and some additional supplies may be needed during the school year. Parents will be notified ahead of time. The 6th Grade Teachers have prepared a list of school supplies. We feel these are necessary for your child to have a productive year. All supplies must be in by the third Monday in September.

6 marble composition notebooks (While the cost is slightly more, they will last the entire year.)
2 book covers (NOT adhesive)

2 pens (not gel or glitter)
2 pencils
1 regular box of tissues
book bag
crayons, colored pencils, or washable markers
glue stick
loose leaf paper (500 sheets, replenished as needed)
1 two-inch ring binder (no Trapper Keepers)
subject dividers for binder (metal reinforced are best)
2 black or blue dry erase markers
1 highlighter
headphones to use in the computer lab (They may be purchased at the Dollar Store.)

Junior High (7th & 8th Grade)

The Junior High teachers have put together the following list of school supplies for the upcoming school year. Please be sure to have these materials available the first day of school.

4  3-ring binders (medium/1.5" size minimum)
4  packets of 5 dividers
4  boxes of Kleenex (for each classroom)
