WELCOME TO JR HIGH SCIENCE We are off to a great start in science. Both grade 7 and grade 8 students are learning about controlled experiments, scientific method, and the wonderful metric system. It's really important for each student to put out a maximum effort in the first marking period because it will impact the high school that your child will be attending in the near future. Please stress with your child the importance of attendance, strong study habits, completing tasks and organizational skills. All of my science students are reading from Science World magazine independently and writing in their journal about topics that spark their interest. Please check to see what they are reading and writing about. I look forward to a productive school year.
