This month in technology education the 6th grade students are finishing up their simple machine
catapults. They will be testing them in the Ping Pong catapult arena.
The 7th grade students have been working hard on their residential floor plans and model houses. These structures were built from hot glue and scaled down 2x4's. The objective is to build a custom designed floor plan and house layout. These structures will be test in the Rigorous Test Zone; each structure will withstand forces for 4 different loads; Compression, Tension, Torque, and Shear. Good Luck.
The 8th Grade students are getting ready to race their 9-volt electric cars. They are learning more and more about alternative vehicles and power sources. These custom made cars will be tested for speed and endurance. Stand by for some of the top performers in all categories.
Tech Club has been making huge strides on the Old Canoe. Anyone can come down to the tech room to check out the progress.
