Welcome back to another exciting school year in Home and Career Skills. We have a lot of innovative projects planned for this year.
Our six graders are working on their pillows. They are designing appliqués and embroidering using the computer-embroidering machine.
Our Seventh Graders have begun their sewing projects. All project money was due last week. If you would like to see your child’s project, go to www.stanwoodkit.org.
Our Eighth Graders are learning to use the sewing machines. We are very excited to have 5 new Berninas leant to us by the district. We are very fortunate to have such nice equipment. The students are learning to use and respect them. Eighth Graders will begin their sewing projects soon. Go to www.Hannscrafts.com to see their sewing projects. Eighth Graders can begin bringing in their project money any time. Once they are paid for, they can embroider their names on their projects with our computerized embroidery machines.
