Well, the first month of 3^rd grade is over and we are off to a great start!  Our reading groups have been established and we are happy to have Mrs. Blake who will be working with our children.

This is a big year for our students.  They will be preparing for and taking their first state assessments in math and English language arts.  The assessments are scheduled for late April and early May.

Third grade is an adjustment.  Please make sure your child completes schoolwork and homework everyday to ensure success.  Children should read to you each evening and study addition and subtraction facts.

We are looking forward to meeting with you at our open house in November.  Thank you for working with us and being part of our third grade team.

Reminder:  Please check your child’s planner every day and send in the $10 for the math workbook as soon as you can.  Thank you.
