- arcademic skill builders - math and language arts games for elementary grades
- cyberchase - Public Broadcasting's educational games supporting math, language arts and the sciences- geared towards upper elementary and middle schoolers
- illuminations - an award winning website filled with activities revolving around math at all grade levels
- aplusmath - math games to practice basic math skills
- prongo - an advertising supported site with good math and language arts games for pre-k through 6th graders
- pbskids - the home site for all Public Broadcasting educational games. Suggested games for elementary students: Virtual Goose, Fern the effective detective, About Face and Story Scramble
- Scholastic - interactive activities and games for upper elementary and middle schoolers. Suggested activities/games include: Make your own comic (Goosebumps and Charlotte's Web) and Make a Dear Dumb Diary.
- Bembo's Zoo - an interactive and inviting look at the alphabet
- Starfall - a very comprehensive, engaging site for young readers (pre-k through 1st), including phonics based books and animated alphabet bits, this site will "read aloud" most of its content
- Thinkfinity - search for interactive resources by grade, topic or other criteria
- BBC School - Brittish Broadcasting Corporation's educational division
- ICT Games - pre-school math and language games from Brittian
- Mighty Math Multiplication - multiplication with carrying
- Funbrain - ad supported with a wide range of subjects and age levels
- GameGoo - better than it sounds; a collection of primary games to support reading
- Learning Planet - slow paced game for pre-k through 3rd: supports math and reading goals
