Social Studies within the Buffalo Public Schools, provides coordinated and systematic instruction from such disciplines as anthropology, archaeology, economics, geography, history, law, philosophy, political science, psychology, religion, and sociology.

Social Studies helps young people make informed and reasoned decisions about the world in which they live.
