Chemistry is the study of the composition, structure and properties of matter and the changes that matter undergoes.

In Regents Chemistry we study basic chemical principles with special emphasis on topics required by the New York State Physical Setting/ Chemistry core curriculum.

Students are required to complete 1200 minutes of laboratory experience (30 forty-minute periods) and hand in an acceptable report on each activity in order to be eligible for the Regents Chemistry examination in June.
