As a Technology Integration Specialist, my intent is to help teachers and children enjoy and maximize their technology education experiences; to ensure their preparedness for the digital world of today as well as tomorrow. Developing technology-centered curriculum for a variety of subject areas (including, but not limited to: science, math, English, social studies and art) is one way that I work to achieve this goal. During instruction, students will benefit by developing computer skills and learning about other disciplines simultaneously. For teachers, using technology in the classroom is a great way to vary instruction and acts as a motivational learning tool.
