Bauer's World

 General Environmental Science

In this class we will be discussing ecology during the first semester.  We will cover food chains/webs, niches, trophic levels, interactions between organisms, ecological heirarchy, nutrient cycling, succession, terrestrial/aquatic biome.  During the second semester we will cover how man impacts the environment.  Topics covered include population dynamics, soil/pesticides, nonrenewable/renewable energy, air pollution, GHE, acid rain and Ozone depletion.

APES (AP Environmental Science)

This is a college level course in environmental science and requires a lot of independent study.  If a student completes this course and passing the college board exam in May, they will receive 3 college credits in science.
