Welcome to Kindergarten!!!!!

We are going to have a very exciting year.  Your child will be engaged in many different and interesting activities.  I will be updating my classroom web page periodically.  I will list homework, classroom news and events.  Please check the web site frequently.  Your child will bring home homework every night except Fridays.  In reading, we will be working on phonemic awareness, letter sounds, high frequency words and reading of simple text.  In math, we will be working on number recognition, counting, shapes, patterning, and recognizing coins and their values.  I am looking forward to working with your child this year.  If you ever have any questions or concerns about your child's academic progress please feel free to call me at school 816-4070.
