We've explored geography and its effects on the cultures of the North and South prior to the Civil War....now we're doing a book study of Gary Paulsen's Nightjohn. (For more information on what we're doing in class please visit this link, In Social Studies!)
Next: More on slavery plus the abolitionist movement (including the Underground Railroad), the Civil War and Reconstruction!
