Weekly Extra Credit: Word Wall Cards: On one side of a 3x5 card write the vocabulary word from the list or your reading, include a sentence using the word and an illustration of the word. On the back write the definition and your name. (Neatness counts!!) Favorite Poem: Write down a favorite poem (your own or someone else's) neatly on white paper and include an illustration. (Neatness counts!!) Writing: Click on the "links" tab and go to the Writing section. Click on the "Visual Writing Prompts" tab and follow the instructions you find on that site. Label this assignment "Flash Fiction" (it must be at least one page long in order to recieve any credit) Quarterly Extra Credit (One quiz grade!!): Do a novel project (Of Mice and Men-grade 9; Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry-grade 7) *Ask Mr. Brennan if you do not understand how to do extra credit*
