“Ticket to Read” is a fantastic web resource for students in kindergarten through 6th grades to practice fluency and comprehension.  The students will work on this site at school.  They can also access it from home with an internet connection by going to www.tickettoread.com.  Students’ reading levels have been matched to their DIBELS scores.  The children will be given reading material that is appropriate for them. All they need to do is enter their user name and password, which were sent home with every student. If you need the password and user name, please contact your child’s teacher.

Students in kindergarten and first grade who are learning to read will have access to the new online phonics component to Ticket to Read! The phonics portion of Ticket to Read is also a great solution for students in second grade and above who need additional review and practice in their phonics skills.
