    Work-Based Learning Coordinator

It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as a Work Based Learning Coordinator. within the CTE department.  I am honored to have the opportunity to aid all CTE teachers and Buffalo Public Schools students by upholding such a rich tradition of education.

My professional experiences as an educator have given me the knowledge and ability to manage and assist individuals into achieving their educational and career goals.  I have assisted countless students with their career development and the job search process while working as a PK-12 School Counselor.  In addition to that, I have also worked as a middle school Technology Teacher within the district for the seven years.  In mycurrent role, I will continue to bring my excitement, skills and knowledge while working with you as a partner in education to ensure success for all.

My objective as a work-based learning coordinator is to create an environment that meets the intellectual, physical, and social needs of all students so they can learn, graduate high school and be hired in their desired career.  I am committed to enhancing the career development for Buffalo Public School students at the middle school level and beyond.  Educating our middle school students on the CTE high school programs offered is critical to growing our department and aiding our students towards a career of their interest.  This year, I will be managing the CTE Career Expos for 7th grade students which will help encourage students to start thinking about their future acceptance into a CTE program that will lead them down a path to becoming college and/or career ready.  In addition to that, I aid many of our high school CTE program students to meet the CDOS credential and a Technical Edorsement.

My goal is to ensure that you all have the necessary support to be successful while educating our students on the exciting programs that our department offers at the high school level, while aiding our CTE high school program students.  I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student experience what the Buffalo Public Schools Career and Technical Education Department has to offer.  I wish all of you the best of luck this school year, and please do not hesitate to contact me for any reason.

    Best Regards,
