About Our Program
The overall goal of the 21st Century Learning Center is to provide the school and the surrounding communities the tools and services necessary to plan, implement, and/or expand learning opportunities for the benefit of educational, psychosocial, cultural and recreational needs of children and their families. Our afterschool program provides a wide variety of academic and enrichment for youth. The general population served ranges from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Parenting classes and family events are offered throughout the year, on a monthly basis. It is our goal to provide quality programs that meet the ever-changing needs of the youth and families in the community.
The program runs throughout the school year and is separated into three (ten-week) sessions: fall, winter and spring. At the end of each session , surveys will be distributed to parents, students and teachers to help us evaluate the impact of the program and receive feedback about what we are doing well and what we can improve to best meet the needs and interests of our participants.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to enhance students' academic achievement and to foster lifelong interests in arts, recreation, and other areas by providing high quality out of school opportunities that keep children safe and help them achieve.
