Objectives

For Teachers:
Objective 1: Among those completing 75% of the embedded coaching offered annually, 90% of the participating teachers annually will be proficient as measured by a pre and post self-assessment survey that measures proficiency in both information literacy and technology literacy skills.
Objective 2a: Among those completing 75% of the embedded coaching offered annually, 90% of the participating teachers will increase their level and quality of the integration of 21st Century skills into the curriculum as measured by the increased score based on technology coach observations.
Objective 2b: Among those completing 75% of the embedded coaching offered annually, 90% of the participating teachers will increase their frequency of classroom technology integration as measured by a pre and post self-assessment survey and documentation showing the usage of mobile technologies.
Objective 2c: Among those completing 75% of the embedded coaching offered annually, 90% of the Cohort 1 teachers will offer the opportunity for their students to participate in a minimum of five project-based units as self reported in pre and post self-assessment survey.
For Students:
Objective 3: Each year, students will use technology and digital media strategically and capably to demonstrate learning outcomes as measured by review of teacher lesson plans, mobile technology usage documentation and collection of student artifacts.
Objective 4: Each year, students of participating teachers will show an increased percentage passing the New York State Assessment in ELA, as compared to the students of the same teachers in the previous year.
