Information and Resources Regarding Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders cover a wide array of abilities and disabilities. This page is designed to supply information and highlight resources that families, students, or people simply wishing to learn more about Autism can utilize.

    Definition of Autism:

    A developmental disorder in which social interaction and communication, reaction to stimuli, interpretation of the world, and the formation of relationships are not fully established and follow unusual patterns.

    Parent Resources:

    There is a Support Group for Parents of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders ran by Women & Children's Hospital, The Children's Guild Foundation and CASE - Center for Autism Support and Education. The Support Group meets each month from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at EPIC/Parent Network of WNY (1000 Main Street, Buffalo NY 14202). Information on monthly meetings can be found at the bottom of the page.


    Parent Network offers education to parents through the CASE, Center for Autism Support and Education. This organization is a helpful tool for all parents. Please find information at the following link:
