Floor Hockey

All students will get an introduction into the activity of floor hockey Students will learn the incorporation of stick handling a hockey puck or whiffle ball.

 Incorporation of passing and receiving a hockey puck or whiffle ball under control and use proper techniques of passing with regards to the standard pass to a classmate as well as stopping the hockey puck and passing and receiving on the move.

Students will be introduced to the proper techniques of the shot in a floor hockey game.

Rules and etiquette of proper play in a floor hockey game and team concepts and respect and responsibility will be a major portion of the unit as well as tactical concepts with regards to game play.

Learning the positions on the floor with regards to offense, defense and goalie will lead the students in to 5 v 5 modified game play with their peers.
