Please contact the main office for your password and username for the parent portal if you do not have it. There, you can monitor the progress your child is making throughout the year. Once you have your personal login information you can enter quickly by going to my classroom connection and clicking on parent portal.

This year I will also continue to use the Remind App to further communicate with parents. If you are interested, please sign up for the service. Your phone number will not be seen or given out to others. Only one email a day will be sent, when there is a need, to update what is going on in and out of the classroom. Handouts  with directions to sign up for this unique service will be given out the first week of school. Look for the sign up attached to the syllabus. Instructions are also on my web page.

EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT... For your convenience, I am introducing the Scholastic Book Clubs online only order page. Reminders will be sent home with the students once a month. Be sure to observe the due date, it will be posted on the order page, and online. The online orders will be delivered to Mrs. Luongo at CHS and handed out to students when the books arrive. Notice that there are many incentives for orders placed in this manner. Our classroom library also grows by using points earned through every purchase. I hope this service will help your child become even more enthusiastic about reading. If you have any questions, please contact me via email. 

Community and Service Activities

Please help City Honors by saving and sending in your Box-Tops for Education labels. Collecting labels and supporting our school is also an example of community and service. We are off to a great start. THANKS!!!!!
