This blog is for a trip I voluntarily set up for the City Honors "Community" (it was not a school-sponsored trip) to Egypt. The vast majority of participants were City Honors students and their families, but some "friends" of City Honors also went on the trip.
This blog from July 2011 when my husband and I were selected to go to NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas for a behind-the-scenes tour, met astronauts, and were allowed to fly the movable base Space Shuttle SIM.
This blog is from my June 2006 trip to Japan as part of the JFMF Teacher Program. I spent 19 days traveling and learning about the culture and educational system of Japan (along with 199 other teachers from around the United States).
Most recently, it was updated to include information about the damage done to my host city, Kesennuma during the March 2011 earthquake & tsunami.
