ABCya:   http://www.abcya.com/  This website is used as a whole group activity on the smart board as well as in independent computer time.  Activities can be assigned to students during independent time to allow students to review concepts or take on a more difficult skill.   It is used to reinforce skills in ELA: letter identification, reading basic text, spelling basic CVC words, and letter sounds; Math: number identification, number sequence, basic addition and subtraction, one to one correspondence.

Starfall:  http://www.starfall.com/ This website is used as a whole group activity on the smartboard as well as in independent computer time.  Activities include ELA: letter sounds and identification, word families, basic text (reading and manipulation of words), and exposure to different genres including plays, nonfiction text, folktales, myths, and legends. Math: patterns, number identification, time, 2d and 3d shapes.   

Fun Brain Jr: http://www.funbrainjr.com/  This website is used as a whole group activity as well as during independent work time.  Activities include Math: basic addition and subtraction skills, number identification, one to one correspondence and greater than and less than.  ELA: Letter identification, letter sounds, spelling and rhyming words. .   

Fuel the Brain:  http://www.fuelthebrain.com  This website is used as a whole group activity on the smart board as well as in independent computer time.  All activities are designed to align with the common core standards.  Activities include ELA: letter sounds and identification, basic text (reading and manipulation of words. Math: counting in sequence, number identification, counting objects, comparing quantities, basic addition and subtraction, measurement and time, basic geometry. Follow-up activities to assess comprehension.  Subject areas include: reading and writing, math, science, social studies, arts and technology, and health.
