Multicultural Day - Friday, May 21

On Friday, May 21, Hillery Park Elementary will have a Multicultural Festival.  The 2nd grade classrooms have been learning about Sweden.  We will be sharing Swedish meatballs, Swedish candy, Swedish sports games, and many other customs with the school community.

Field Trip to the Buffalo Science Museum - Tuesday, May 25

On Tuesday, May 25, the 2nd grade classrooms will be going on a field trip to the Buffalo Science Museum.  We will be touring "The Body" exhibit, presented by Seaseme Street.  This is a wonderful exhibit that will give the kids the opportunity to learn about the body in a hands-on format.
