BIG DAY FOR PRE K

-Theme 4 of the reading series: Awesome Animals- we will talk about wild animals, creepy bugs, ocean and farm and animal homes.

-we will be learning the letters in our name, letter J,K, L and objects that begin with that letter. We sing nursery rhymes and discuss feelings and shapes.

-working on our listening skills is also very important- this includes: following our classroom routine, listening to directions and engaging in conversation.

Building Blocks Math

-our math program consists of daily counting practice to 10, learning and reviewing colors and shapes as well as exploring with our different math buckets/manipulatives.

-we will read 5 Little Monkeys, 5 Green and Speckled Frogs, Did you say red? and Shapes all Around Us

-Breakfast, Lunch and Snack are provided by the school

-If you change your phone number or address please let me and the school know

-We play outside or in the gym every day, please have your child wear sneakers

-Please make sure your child's RED folder comes back to school daily-this folder will carry all important papers
