This is a great site to bookmark because it can be re-visited during most units. The site provides written resources as well as video clips. -
esaKIDS
ESA (European Space Agency) Kids is a site that offers engaging activities that allow students to build models, play games, color diagrams, and take quizzes. The content is focused on Elementary and Middle school students studying space science and earth science. -
Physics4kids
This site provides research-based simulations that connects real-life phenomena and science and deepen the understanding of the physical world. This site is useful for the middle school and high school classroom. Simulations are available for physics, biology, chemistry, and earth science. -
Rollercoaster simulation
This is a great simulation that allows the user to manipulate factors (speed, mass, gravity, friction, and hills) that affect a roller coaster.

Religious Diversity-Interactive lessons
This interactive pack allows students to explore and research religions and explore how the right to religious freedom was granted. This link has lessons for elementary grades but is primarily addressing middle school and high school standards. -
Immigration-Interactive lessons
This activity pack investigates reasons why people immigrate, the challenges they face, and their difficulties once they arrive. The lessons in this activity pack range from elementary grades to high school.

Epals
This Interactive site will allow teachers and students to continue the exciting practice of having pen pals, without the pen! Epals allows students' to communicate with pals via the Internet about pre-assigned topics. Teachers select a topic or project that students will communicate with their pals about. Lessons are provided, but can be changed to meet individual needs. The lessons are prepared with all the materials necessary for teachers and students.
