Did you know that our school has children from more than 30 countries? It is very interesting to know that in 5th grade alone there are children from Burma (now called Myanmar), Somalia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Liberia and the United States of America. If you strike up a conversation with your fellow classmate you will find out many different things about them including what foods they eat, what music they listen to, what kind of clothes they wear, what holidays they celebrate and what customs they partake in.
Below are some resources that you can use to find out information about different countries around the world:
2) books at the library or in your classroom
3) interviewing people in your community from that country
