AP Art Education Program
Course DescriptionsAdvanced Placement (AP) courses provide BPS students with the rigors of college level coursework and the potential for college credits. All BPS students are invited to register for AP courses at the high school level.

College Board Training
All NYS certified 7-12 teachers currently working for BPS are encouraged to attend College Board training for AP certification.BPS teachers who are selected to teach AP courses must submit a suggested syllabus to the District for approval before submitting a final syllabus to the College Board as part of the AP Audit process.
In order to establish a strong AP program at the high school level, BPS also works closely with the College Board to strengthen the vertical alignment of curricula and methodology.
