Drinking Water Testing Results 2021
-
On September 6th, 2016, Governor Cuomo signed a law that requires that all New York State Public Schools (Pre-K -12) test their drinking water for lead. Any drinking fountain and faucet where a student drinks from and where water is used for cooking, must be tested.
All schools and athletic facilities have been tested. The results are posted on a separate chart for each school and athletic facility. The reports for each school show the sample number, whether the result was above or below the action level, the plan to fix the fountain or faucet (if the test result is above the action level), and the test result after the problem is fixed.
