Classroom Dojo:
Class Dojo is currently used for the ECC #54 school-wide community because it connects teachers with students and parents. It is a free and safe messaging service that is used daily to help keep everyone up-to-date with what is happening in the classroom. Class Dojo is used to send quick, one-way messages to the entire class. These simple and short messages are sent directly to your phone or email to help families keep up with:
Homework assignments - Tests & Assessment reminders - Missing Homework alerts
Project deadlines - Schedule changes - Teacher Absences & Substitute Teacher Assignments
Attendance:
Attendance telephone calls are generated from our Infinite Campus automated system by 10:00am. Students are considered late after 9:20am (2nd bell). Student attendance records can be viewed on Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
When your child is absent from school, you (the parent and/or guardian) must send a written excuse. Students and siblings that are minors (under age 21) are not allowed to write student excuses. Please make sure that your excuse includes: student name, the date of the absence(s), the reason your child missed school and your signature. The absence will not be removed until a written excuse is submitted. *For COVID-19 illness and absences be see guidance on the BPS district webpage.
