    Hello! My name is Mrs. Fischer and I am excited to be your child's teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. This is my seventeenth year teaching at Arthur O. Eve School of Distinction #61, mainly teaching 3rd and 4th grade. I have taught 2nd grade before, and I am happy to return to this wonderful grade level! Our school works closely with parents and families to ensure that all students are supported throughout their journey here, and family participation is key to your child's success.   

     
    As always, ongoing support from the home is needed. Working together as a team and providing consistency between school and home is imperative for our students to succeed. There will be daily communication between me and the parents/guardians of my students. Their behavior will be recorded and documented throughout the year and discussed with you on a regular basis. It is important to remember that the behavior strategies I will be teaching are as important, if not more so than reading or math strategies. So it is very important that the strategies are worked on at home as well to ensure consistency.
