November
November is a very busy and exciting month in Kindergarten. We are now reviewing and learning our letters and what sounds they make, reading and recognizing sight words I, like, the, see, and we. Please practice reading and writing sight words with your child nightly. If your child has mastered all the Kindergarten sight words sent home, please send in a note if you would like a copy of the 100 sight word list for First Grade to better prepare them before First Grade. We are also counting/writing numbers 1-10 and recognizing and drawing Two-Dimensional flat Shapes and Thee-Dimensional Shapes circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, and hexagons.
Practice writing numbers 1-10 by clicking here.
