What's Been Happening at OUR School?

WE ARE GETTING READY FOR YOU
We have a few new teachers, aides, and assistants… but most importantly... WE HAVE A NEW ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL! Her name is Mrs. Amy Chavez and she is so excited to join the Roosevelt Family! Also, our enrollment is up, and we imagine it is because the word is out… School 65 is a wonderful place to learn! We’ve been told that our school is “Buffalo’s Best Kept Secret,” and we couldn’t agree more! Families will attend orientations the first few weeks of school, by meeting with administration and discussing the policies of the building, and understand how educating a child really is a joint effort. Principal Mrs. Hope-Barnes always tells the faculty & staff, “It takes a village to educate a child. Let’s work together.” Having said that; when school starts, please watch the calendar for opportunities to visit our school. Please be sure to check backpacks and folders for notices sent home for important information. We have some wonderful things planned for the year and can NEVER have enough help. We look forward to seeing you!
