This week our class has been working on improving their behavior. We have seen a great improvement since last week! Keep it up guys!!!
In math we have been working on collecting data. We are just starting to find the median (or middle) number. We have discussed how important this strategy is and how it is used to find out averages and grades. The students were excited to see how their grades are figured out for their report card. Most of them decided they needed to try harder and get better grades!!! Keep working hard, guys!!
For the past week and a half we have been reading the chapter book Bridge to Terabithia. The class has really been enjoying this book. We hope to finish it up on Monday and watch the movie on Tuesday. The book is about a friendship between a boy and a girl who use their imaginations to create a magical kingdom. The two reign as king and queen until one day when a terrible tragedy occurs. The true meaning of friendship is finally understood.
This book is one of my favorites. That is why I wanted to share it with your child.
