Compliance Items/Dates


  • Parents of children who are currently home schooled in Buffalo, NY please forward all compliance documents via email to BPSHomeschooling@buffaloschools.org as a PDF, Word or JPEG.  

    According to New York State Education Department Commissioner's Regulation Part 100.10, the items listed below must be submitted each year by the following dates:

    * Or within 14 days following the commencement of home instruction in the school district
    + Or within 4 weeks of the receipt of the IHIP form letter. Later date applies.
    ++ Suggested date. Parents may specify similar Quarterly Report due dates on the IHIP. The number of reports should be proportional to the period of home instruction.
