Introduction to iPads
Students learn the proper care and handling of the iPad, general procedures, functions, and the use of selected apps. -
Typing on the iPad
Students use the app Pages to type a paragraph from a recelt ELA activity, using the on-screen keyboard and learning the basic functions on the ruler. They also save and rename the document. -
Notetaking on the iPad
Using the app called Catch Notes, students collaboratively take notes. -
Intro to Blogging on the iPad
Students learn how to log in to Kidblog and write their first comment on the teacher's post. -
Text-Based Answers on the iPad
Students use the iBooks app to read an informational text and answer true/false questions using some of the iPad features. -
