WELCOME

I am Kevin R. Swarts, M.S., CCC/A, FAAA. I am the Educational Audiologist for the Buffalo Board of Education. My office is located at the Erie County Health Center for Children, Buffalo P.S. #84 at 462 Grider St., Buffalo, N.Y. 14215-3021. I have a B.S. degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the State University College of Arts and Sciences at Geneseo, N.Y. (1972) and a M.S. in Audiology from Galluadet University in Washington, D.C. (1974). I also have 30+ hours in post-grad continuing education. I have permanent N.Y.S. Certification as a Teacher of the Speech/Hearing Handicapped. I have Certification in Audiology from the American Speech/Hearing and Language Association and I am a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology. I am licensed in Audiology by the N.Y.S Education Department. 

 I worked at the Children's Hospital of Buffalo from 1974-1991 as Supervisor of Audiology Services and a Coordinator of the Preschool Deaf Education Program. I worked in private practice as a clinical and educational audiologist from 1991 to 2001. I joined the Buffalo City School District in April 2001.
