Homework is assigned Monday-Thursday.  Usually homework is a practice skill sheet or a written response to a writing prompt.  The homework is designed as a review of the material taught in class. Completing homework on time is very important because it helps students prepare for unit tests.  Also, I can determine what a student needs help in by looking over the completed homework. I can make corrections and hand it back so the student can see what they did wrong and right and why it was/wasn't correct.  Homework needs to be written neatly, on loose leaf paper (if applicable), and in complete sentences (if applicable).
