Students are required to supply their own notebooks and PAPER.  Students need a minimum of 180-pieces of paper, one per day!  Students who are constantly asking for paper or pens/pencils disrupt the learning environment and slow everyone down..  The periods at this high school are unbelievably short.  Wasting 5 minutes a day to pass out supplies for slacking students will amount to a total of 2 wasted weeks of instructional time.  This is unacceptable.  There is not a parent in the district that I have spoken to, that has not told me that they bought supplies.  In other words everybody's parent bought supplies.  BRING THEM TO CLASS.  Notebooks can be anything, but I prefer the marble black and white.  They will be collected every quarter for grades.
