In math we will continue using the NYS math modules which can be found online at https://www.engageny.org/resource/grade-4-mathematics .

Social Studies and Science curriculums are being updated this year an online materials are being added. Please check back for more information.

We expect the following items in class everyday

    Grading policy

    50% tests, quizzes, and projects

    40% classwork, notebooks, and participation

    10 % homework

Attendance is extremely important!  Classwork counts for a large part of your child’s grade. If something is keeping your child from school, please contact us for help!

    Bathroom/drink policy

We are enouraging personal water bottles for use at desks this year. Bathroom visits, unless emergency, should wait until whole group instruction is complete.

    Book borrowing

We would love for you to borrow books from our classroom library in Mrs. Hill's room! During independent or small group time, when your work is complete, you may choose a book to take home and read.  Please enjoy the book for a few days, return it as you found it, and borrow another!
