Things to notice: Notice how your limited resources force you to make choices that are unpleasant or ineffective.  Notice how this is a game of earning, budgeting and managing (3 of the 4 components of financial literacy).

Your goal: To prove that you can survive in such an environment, make it to the end of the month with as much money as you started with ($1000).  If you can't do that, just try to survive a month.
