The Hutch Tech Gay Straight Alliance is a student lead group with a focus of acceptance. Our organized group has recognized the following as our purpose:

1. To accept fellow students for who they are
2. To raise awareness of the issues, struggles, and challenges that LGBTQ students must face
3. To create an open and free environment for students to express themselves without judgment
4. To become leaders in the school taking a stand against bullying of any kind
