Parent and Family Engagement Policy 3170
The Board of Education supports the development of a goal-oriented, comprehensive implementation of school and district-wide parent and family engagement practices that support the academic achievement of all students and fulfillment of state and federal mandates. This policy establishes a framework and responsibilities for the implementation of strategies, on multiple levels, to increase the level of effective, meaningful, and authentic parent and family engagement throughout Buffalo Public Schools (BPS).Please email opfe@buffaloschools.org or call (716) 816-3170 for questions. Parent and Family Engagement Policy:

Pursuant to ESSA Section 1116(a)(2)(D), the Buffalo Public School District will conduct an annual review of its Parent and Family Engagement Policy 3170 to evaluate its content and effectiveness. Stakeholders will be provided opportunities to offer feedback during the review process. Specific details for how to engage in this process will be forthcoming.
