Welcome to Mr. Lewis' Third Grade ENL classroom.  Over the past five years I have worked as both a high school history teacher and a Kindergarten ENL teacher.  I am very excited to work with your child in my classroom on a daily basis.  We will be working to improve their reading, writing and comprehension skills.  Below are some ways to help your child improve their English language skills.

-At home, continue to speak to them in your native language.

-Read to your child or have them read to you on a daily basis.

-Practice counting the words on the page, then pointing to each word as they read it.

-Practice letters and letters sounds.

-Practice sight words.
