    About Our Program

    The extended day program at Community School #53 is an extension of our school day serving students from grades 3-8.  The primary focus is to support academic achievement and to enrich the curriculum through social interaction with our community partners.  This program is available for student who are walkers or who can be picked up.


    Weekly Schedule

    Day Hours Programming

    MONDAY

    4:05-6:05 Students will have two session each afternoon.  They will work on academics, utilizing the tutors to help them in areas of Math, ELA, Social Studies and Science.  Students will also have an opportunity to engage in physical activity and athletics, board games, and crafts.

    TUESDAY

    4:05-6:05 Students will have two session each afternoon.  They will work on academics, utilizing the tutors to help them in areas of Math, ELA, Social Studies and Science.  Students will also have an opportunity to engage in physical activity and athletics, board games, and crafts.

    WEDNESDAY
