SURVEY DESCRIPTION:
The EDSCLS is a tool designed to survey stakeholder groups (students, their parents, instructional staff, and non-instructional staff, including building leaders) to provide a comprehensive picture of a school's climate by gaining useful information about their perceptions on student engagement, school environment, and school safety.PARENT OPT-OUT:This survey is anonymous and voluntary. This means your student’s individual responses will not be shared with anyone and he/she does not have to participate in this survey. As a parent or guardian, you may ask that your child not participate in this survey. This is called parent opt-out.If you do not wish to have your child participate in this survey, please return this form to your child’s Main Office prior to the survey administration window. One form must be completed for each child, grade 5-12, in the District.
