The Buffalo Public Schools understands the importance of student voice and choice in combatting bullying. We encourage students to shift their roles from supporting the bully to being an upstander. The mission of the Buffalo Public Schools is that all students understand what bullying is and the importance of consistently and appropriately responding to a bullying situation. We ask that all students be informed and supported in knowing how to recognize, report and refuse bullying. Students are our number one partner when it comes to preventing acts of bullying and we know with student voice and support we can be successful in reducing acts of bullying.
The Inter High Student Council was trained in bullying prevention restorative practices.
