Thank you for your interest in applying for the Buffalo Public Schools IT Department’s 2019 Student Technology Leadership Summer Internship. BPS is working with a community partner for an internship that is additional and separate from the Mayor's Summer Youth Program internship.
This six-week, paid opportunity will provide you with technology-related skills including malware removal, imaging, inventorying, hardware testing and connectivity, and wireless and connection solutions, through training and hands-on experiences.
Student Technology Leaders are expected to:
Arrive at work each day, on-time
Work with other Student Technology Leaders under the direction of a staff member
Actively learn a variety of technical skills
Student Technology Leaders will work the following schedule:
⇒ Monday through Friday AM only, approximately 4 hours.
Interns conduct computer security and firmware updates, hardware and software maintenance, WiFi network readiness, computer operating system configuration, and computer inventory procedures
